Choosing a Location for your Senior Portraits

Your senior portrait should reflect who you are. Often, your senior portrait photographer will have backgrounds and props that you can choose from, and many will also allow you to bring props from home.

If you play on a sports team, or participate as a cheerleader, color guard, or in the marching band, you may want to consider changing into your uniform for part of the photo shoot.

Often, for an additional fee, your photographer will travel to a location of your choice - some place special to you, something from your childhood or something special to your family. Your home is a convenient place for a photo shoot, since you can run back to your closet for a quick wardrobe change, if needed. Don't think of your house as a photography studio - the photographer will frame and crop your image as needed, with items or people important to you in the picture.
